What areas do you cover?
HCH Inc. covers most areas within the NYC Metro. Alternatively you can give us a ring on 718 627 5781 if your home is outside these areas-we may be able to cover it.
Are you insured
Yes.
We have a full public and employers liability cover.
Are your cleaners insured?
Yes.
Our cleaners are covered by HCH Inc.'s public and employers liability insurance.
Will I have the same cleaner every week?
Yes.
We will send the same cleaner every cleaning visit.
Is there a minimum number of hours per visit?
Yes.
We require 3 hours minimum per cleaning visit.
Can I have a cleaner for an hour per visit?
No.
We try to keep our cleaners' earnings in proportion to travel and other expenses.
Can I have a cleaner once a month?
Yes.
You can have a cleaner once a month but we will not guarantee the same cleaner every month. The cleaners are looking for a steady income and we try to allocate them to clients who require weekly/fortnightly service. The cleaner you had last month may be busy at the time you require this month and we will have to send someone else.
How do you vet your cleaners?
Our vetting procedure includes:
  • Proof of identity
  • Proof of experience and reliability (minimium 3 references from previuos employers or clients)
  • Test on common cleaning tasks
All candidates who have passed the vetting procedure are given extensive training by HCH Inc.
We make sure the new members of our team learn what are the quality standards of HCH Inc.'s service and how to keep them at all times.
How long will it take you to find me a cleaner?
In most cases, we can send out a cleaner to you on the same day.
What happens if the cleaner goes on a holiday? Do you provide a replacement?
Yes.
We guarantee you a replacement cleaner who will continue the regular cleaning service at your home.

If you don't want one, please let us know.
Who pays the cleaner you or I?
You pay the cleaner once the job is completed.
How do you ensure reliability and honesty?
By checking all the references provided by the cleaner. If she/he cannot provide verifiable reference we do not offer them work. There are no exceptions.

By providing extensive training and making sure all our quality standards are met.

And last but not least, HCH Inc. holds a deposit paid by every cleaner.
Can my cleaner come when I am out at work?
Yes, of course.
You can leave a set of keys to our cleaner. You don't have to be in on the day the cleaner comes and you can start enjoying more free time.

90% of our cleaners hold keys for clients' homes. They have gone through our security training with regards to safe keeping keys.
Are there any extra charges I have to pay - transport expenses, holiday money etc.?
There are no extra charges.
What you use is what you pay and that is the rate for the cleaning service you have booked.
Is there a minimum term contract for using your services?
There is no minimum term contract for using our services.

We don't want you to pay money to us just because of a contract and not for receiving quality service.
If you want to cancel the cleaning service, you need to notify us 30 in advance unless the contract states otherwise.
Do I stil have to pay if I go away for a few weeks?
No, you don't pay a penny.
You only pay when you use our cleaning service.
We require 24 hours notice before you go away and the date of your first cleaning when you are back.
Are there any agency fees or charges on top of your rates?
No.
We do not charge a monthly/yearly fee, agency fee or commission.
Our service is charged per hour or a fixed price per property.

We will charge you only for the work we do for you - not for the time you spend away on holidays.
Who is responsible for providing the cleaning materials and equipment?
We will provide the cleaning materials and equipment only as a part of the End of Tenancy Cleaning service.

In all other cases, you are responsible for providing the cleaning products and equipment.

Sometimes we may be able to provide cleaning products and equipment, but there will be an extra charge for that.
What happens if I am dissatisfied with the service provided by your cleaner?
HCH Inc. will re-do the job free of charge.
If you are still disatisfied with the service we will send you another regular cleaner.

If you have booked an end of tenancy cleaning and you are still dissatisfied with the service after the second cleaning, you will receive a full refund.
Many companies act as introduction agencies only. Do you operate on the same basis?
No.
And we don't charge an introduction fee.

After we have introduced a cleaner to you, we continue to maintain the cleaning service. We make sure the quality level does not drop down and carefully monitor the feedback we receive so we can provide you with the service you want.
Do you guarantee you service?
Yes.
We promise that if you are not satisfied with the result from a job then we will come back and clean free of charge.
If you are still dissatisfied - you will receive your money back.

In the case of domestic cleaning and ironing please make sure you leave your cleaner tasks that can be normally completed within the time you have agreed with HCH Inc.
How do I pay?
You can pay for the cleaning service using your debit/credit card, cash or check. Payment can be made on a weekly or monthly basis. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
Is there a minimum charge for your carpet cleaning service?
Yes.
There is a $45.00 minimum charge.
What are your working hours?
You can give us a callMonday to Thursday, 8AM - 5PM and Friday 8AM - 3PM.

We are observing the Shabbos, and Our cleaners work any day of the week including Bank Holidays and Public Holidays except Saturday and Jewish holidays.

Please note:if your cleaning visit is due on a Bank Holiday and you haven't called or e-mailed HCH Inc. to cancel the visit, the regular amount due for that cleaning visit will be charged regardless of whether the cleaner has cleaned your property or not.
